18 And [their] bows will dash even young men to pieces.+ And the fruitage of the belly they will not pity;+ for sons their eye will not feel sorry.

21 For death has come up through our windows; it has come into our dwelling towers, in order to cut off the child from the street, the young men from the public squares.’+

26 “Therefore her young men will fall in her public squares, and all the men of war themselves will be brought to silence in that day,”+ is the utterance of Jehovah of armies.

4 And they must fall slain in the land of the Chal·deʹans+ and pierced through in her streets.+
