15 At this the bramble said to the trees, ‘If it is in truth that YOU are anointing me as king over YOU, come, seek refuge under my shadow.+ But if not, let fire+ come out of the bramble and consume the cedars+ of Lebʹa·non.’+
12 Its foliage was fair, and its fruit was abundant, and there was food for all on it. Under it the beast+ of the field would seek shade,+ and on its boughs the birds of the heavens would dwell,+ and from it all flesh would feed itself.
