3 And for my people they kept casting lots;+ and they would give the male child for a prostitute,*+ and the female child they sold for wine, that they might drink.

11 In the day when you stood off on the side, in the day when strangers took his military force into captivity+ and [when] outright foreigners entered his gate+ and over Jerusalem they cast lots,+ you also were like one of them.

10 She, too, was meant for exile; she went into captivity.+ Her own children also came to be dashed to pieces at the head of all the streets;+ and over her glorified men they cast lots,+ and her great ones have all been bound with fetters.+
