22 Jehovah now said to Moses: “Stretch out your hand+ toward the heavens, that hail+ may come on all the land of Egypt, upon man and beast and all vegetation of the field in the land of Egypt.”

11 And it came about that while they were fleeing from before Israel and were on the descent of Beth-hoʹron, Jehovah hurled great stones+ from the heavens upon them as far as A·zeʹkah, so that they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than those whom the sons of Israel killed with the sword.
