35 And some of those having insight will be made to stumble,+ in order to do a refining work because of them and to do a cleansing and to do a whitening,+ until the time of [the] end;+ because it is yet for the time appointed.*+

10 Many will cleanse themselves+ and whiten themselves+ and will be refined.+ And the wicked ones will certainly act wickedly,+ and no wicked ones at all will understand;+ but the ones having insight will understand.+

13 each one’s work will become manifest, for the day will show it up, because it will be revealed by means of fire;+ and the fire itself will prove what sort of work each one’s is.
