4 for the reason that they did not come to YOUR aid+ with bread and water in the way when YOU were going out of Egypt,+ and because they hired* against you Baʹlaam the son of Beʹor from Peʹthor of Mes·o·po·taʹmi·a* to call down evil upon you.+

20 We+ are therefore ambassadors+ substituting for* Christ,+ as though God were making entreaty through us.+ As substitutes for Christ we beg:+ “Become reconciled to God.”

11 For both he who is sanctifying and those who are being sanctified*+ all [stem] from one,+ and for this cause he is not ashamed to call them “brothers,”*+
