19 and will deliver him up to [men of] the nations to make fun of and to scourge and to impale,*+ and the third day he will be raised up.”+

23 So the multitude of them rose, one and all, and led him to Pilate.+

28 Then they led Jesus from Caʹia·phas to the governor’s palace.+ It was now early in the day. But they themselves did not enter into the governor’s palace, that they might not get defiled+ but might eat the passover.

13 The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob,+ the God of our forefathers, has glorified+ his Servant,+ Jesus, whom YOU, for YOUR part, delivered up+ and disowned before Pilate’s face, when he had decided to release him.+
