17 who will go out before them and who will come in before them and who will bring them out and who will bring them in,+ that Jehovah’s assembly may not become like sheep that have no shepherd.”+

17 So he said: “I certainly see all the Israelites scattered+ on the mountains, like sheep that have no shepherd.+ And Jehovah went on to say: ‘These have no masters.* Let them go back each one to his house in peace.’”+

5 And they were gradually scattered because of there being no shepherd,+ so that they became food for every wild beast of the field, and they continued to be scattered.+

34 Well, on getting out, he saw a great crowd, but he was moved with pity+ for them, because they were as sheep without a shepherd.+ And he started to teach them many things.+
