26 Then it goes its way and takes along seven+ different* spirits more wicked than itself, and, after getting inside, they dwell there; and the final circumstances of that man become worse than the first.”+

14 After these things Jesus found him in the temple and said to him: “See, you have become sound in health. Do not sin anymore, in order that something worse does not happen to you.”

4 For it is impossible as regards those who have once for all been enlightened,+ and who have tasted the heavenly free gift,+ and who have become partakers of holy spirit,+

6 but who have fallen away,+ to revive* them again to repentance,+ because they impale* the Son of God afresh for themselves and expose him to public shame.+

20 Certainly if, after having escaped from the defilements of the world+ by an accurate knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they get involved* again with these very things and are overcome,+ the final conditions have become worse for them than the first.+
