28 At this one of the people answered and said: “Your father solemnly put the people under oath, saying, ‘Cursed is the man that eats bread today!’”+ (And the people began to get tired.)+

22 So may God do to the enemies of David* and so may he add to it+ if I shall let anyone of all who are his that urinates against the wall*+ remain until the morning.”+

22 And the daughter of this very He·roʹdi·as came in and danced and pleased Herod and those reclining+ with him. The king said to the maiden: “Ask me for whatever you want, and I will give it to you.”
