14 And YOU have said, ‘On what account?’+ On this account, that Jehovah himself has borne witness between you and the wife of your youth,+ with whom you yourself have dealt treacherously, although she is your partner and the wife of your covenant.+

32 However, I say to YOU that everyone divorcing his wife, except on account of fornication,*+ makes her a subject for adultery,+ and whoever marries a divorced* woman commits adultery.*+

11 And he said to them: “Whoever divorces* his wife and marries another commits adultery+ against her,

18 “Everyone that divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery,* and he that marries a woman divorced* from a husband commits adultery.+

3 So, then, while her husband is living, she would be styled an adulteress* if she became another man’s.+ But if her husband dies, she is free from his law, so that she is not an adulteress if she becomes another man’s.+

10 To the married people I give instructions, yet not I but the Lord,+ that a wife should not depart from her husband;+

4 Let marriage be honorable among all, and the marriage bed be without defilement,+ for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.*+
