31 Also, he started teaching them that the Son of man must undergo many sufferings and be rejected by the older men and the chief priests and the scribes and be killed,+ and rise three days later.+
31 For he was teaching his disciples and telling them: “The Son of man is to be delivered* into men’s hands, and they will kill him,+ but, despite being killed, he will rise three days later.”+
22 but said: “The Son of man must undergo many sufferings and be rejected by the older men and chief priests and scribes, and be killed,+ and on the third day be raised up.”+
31 Then he took the twelve aside and said to them: “Look! We are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things written by means of the prophets+ as to the Son of man will be completed.+
