8 Cure sick people,+ raise up dead persons, make lepers clean, expel demons. YOU received free, give free.+

12 If other men partake of this authority over YOU,+ do we not much more so? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this authority,+ but we are bearing all things, in order that we might not offer any hindrance to the good news+ about the Christ.

2 ALLOW room for us.*+ We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have taken advantage of no one.+

7 For an overseer* must be free from accusation+ as God’s steward,*+ not self-willed,+ not prone to wrath,+ not a drunken brawler,+ not a smiter,+ not greedy of dishonest gain,+
