12 But when they believed Philip, who was declaring the good news of the kingdom of God+ and of the name of Jesus Christ, they proceeded to be baptized, both men and women.+

8 But Crisʹpus+ the presiding officer of the synagogue became a believer in the Lord, and so did all his household. And many of the Corinthians that heard began to believe and be baptized.
