46 And day after day they were in constant attendance at the temple with one accord,+ and they took their meals in private homes* and partook of food with great rejoicing+ and sincerity of heart,

31 And when they had made supplication, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken;+ and they were one and all filled with the holy spirit+ and were speaking the word of God with boldness.+

5 When, now, both Silas+ and Timothy+ came down from Mac·e·doʹni·a, Paul began to be intensely occupied with the word, witnessing to the Jews to prove that Jesus is the Christ.+
