7 Jehovah now appeared to Aʹbram and said: “To your seed+ I am going to give this land.”+ After that he built an altar there to Jehovah, who had appeared to him.

6 And I will make you very, very fruitful and will make you become nations, and kings will come out of you.+

17 I shall surely bless you and I shall surely multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens and like the grains of sand that are on the seashore;+ and your seed will take possession of the gate* of his enemies.+

13 For it was not through law that Abraham or his seed had the promise+ that he should be heir of a world, but it was through the righteousness by faith.+

16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham+ and to his seed.+ It* says, not: “And to seeds,” as in the case of many such, but as in the case of one:+ “And to your seed,”+ who is Christ.+
