10 And I spoke to the prophets,+ and visions I myself multiplied, and by the hand of the prophets I kept making likenesses.+

7 For the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will not do a thing unless he has revealed his confidential matter* to his servants the prophets.+

23 and came and dwelt in a city named Nazʹa·reth,*+ that there might be fulfilled what was spoken through the prophets: “He will be called a Naz·a·reneʹ.”*+

18 But in this way God has fulfilled the things he announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ would suffer.+

2 which he promised aforetime through his prophets+ in the holy Scriptures,

1 God, who long ago spoke on many occasions+ and in many ways to our forefathers by means of the prophets,+

10 Brothers, take as a pattern+ of the suffering of evil+ and the exercising of patience+ the prophets,+ who spoke in the name of Jehovah.*+

10 Concerning this very salvation a diligent inquiry and a careful search+ were made by the prophets who prophesied+ about the undeserved kindness meant for YOU.+
