20 “But the wicked are like the sea that is being tossed, when it is unable to calm down, the waters of which keep tossing up seaweed and mire.

2 Daniel was speaking up and saying:

“I happened to be beholding in my visions during the night, and, see there! the four winds*+ of the heavens were stirring up the vast sea.+

14 And [why] do you make earthling man like the fishes of the sea, like creeping things over whom no one is ruling?+

15 And he says to me: “The waters that you saw, where the harlot is sitting, mean peoples and crowds* and nations and tongues.+

21 And I saw a new heaven+ and a new earth;+ for the former heaven+ and the former earth+ had passed away, and the sea+ is no more.
