9 This is the history of Noah.

Noah was a righteous man.+ He proved himself faultless* among his contemporaries.* Noah walked with the true God.+

6 “Now you must keep the commandments of Jehovah your God by walking in his ways and by fearing him.

4 After Jehovah your God you should walk, him you should fear, his commandments you should keep, to his voice you should listen; he is the one you should serve, and to him you should hold fast.+

4 No greater joy* do I have than this: that I should hear that my children go on walking in the truth.+

14 Yes, the seventh one in line from Adam, Eʹnoch,+ also prophesied about them when he said: “Look! Jehovah* came with his holy myriads*+ 15 to execute judgment against all,+ and to convict all the ungodly concerning all their ungodly deeds that they did in an ungodly way, and concerning all the shocking things that ungodly sinners spoke against him.”+
