24 This is why I tell you, all the things you pray and ask for, have faith that you have received them, and you will have them.+

13 Also, whatever you ask in my name, I will do this, so that the Father may be glorified in connection with the Son.+

23 In that day you will ask me no question at all. Most truly I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything,+ he will give it to you in my name.+ 24 Until now you have not asked for a single thing in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.

22 and whatever we ask we receive from him,+ because we are observing his commandments and doing what is pleasing in his eyes.

14 And this is the confidence* that we have toward him,+ that no matter what we ask according to his will, he hears us.+
