4 but in every way we recommend ourselves as God’s ministers,+ by the endurance of much, by tribulations, by times of need, by difficulties,+

10 as sorrowing but ever rejoicing, as poor but making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.+

18 Tell them to work at good, to be rich in fine works, to be generous,* ready to share,+ 19 safely treasuring up for themselves a fine foundation for the future,+ so that they may get a firm hold on the real life.+

5 Listen, my beloved brothers. Did not God choose those who are poor from the world’s standpoint to be rich in faith+ and heirs of the Kingdom, which he promised to those who love him?+
