24 “Aaron will be gathered to his people.*+ He will not enter the land that I will give to the Israelites, because you both rebelled against my order regarding the waters of Merʹi·bah.+

28 Then Moses removed Aaron’s garments and clothed El·e·aʹzar his son with them. After that Aaron died there on the top of the mountain.+ And Moses and El·e·aʹzar came down from the mountain.

38 And Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor at the order of Jehovah and died there in the 40th year after the Israelites left the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month.+

6 “The Israelites then departed from Be·erʹoth Benʹe-jaʹa·kan for Mo·seʹrah. There Aaron died and was buried,+ and his son El·e·aʹzar began to serve as priest in his place.+

50 Then you will die on the mountain you are about to ascend, and be gathered to your people,* just as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor+ and was gathered to his people,
