16 So Pharʹaoh quickly called Moses and Aaron and said: “I have sinned against Jehovah your God and against you. 17 Now, please, pardon my sin just this once, and plead with Jehovah your God that he just remove this deadly plague from upon me.”

7 So the people came to Moses and said: “We have sinned by speaking against Jehovah and against you.+ Intercede with Jehovah so that he may remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded on behalf of the people.+

3 And King Zed·e·kiʹah sent Je·huʹcal+ the son of Shel·e·miʹah and Zeph·a·niʹah+ the son of Ma·a·seiʹah the priest to Jeremiah the prophet, saying: “Please pray in our behalf to Jehovah our God.”

24 In answer Simon said to them: “Make supplication for me to Jehovah that none of the things you have said may come upon me.”
