19 So he went from there and found E·liʹsha the son of Shaʹphat while he was plowing with 12 pairs of bulls ahead of him, and he was with the 12th pair. So E·liʹjah went over to him and threw his official garment+ on him.

4 “In that day each of the prophets will be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies; and they will not wear an official garment of hair+ in order to deceive.

32 And what more will I say? For time will fail me if I go on to relate about Gidʹe·on,+ Baʹrak,+ Samson,+ Jephʹthah,+ David,+ as well as Samuel+ and the other prophets.

37 They were stoned,+ they were tried, they were sawn in two,* they were slaughtered by the sword,+ they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins,+ while they were in need, in tribulation,+ mistreated;+
