And he shone upon them from Seʹir.

He shone forth in glory from the mountainous region of Paʹran,+

And with him were holy myriads,*+

At his right hand his warriors.+

 4 Jehovah, when you went out from Seʹir,+

When you marched out of the territory of Eʹdom,

The earth shook, and the heavens poured,

The clouds poured down water.

 7 O God, when you led* your people,+

When you marched through the desert, (Selah)

 8 The earth quaked;+

Heaven poured down rain* because of God;

This Siʹnai quaked because of God, the God of Israel.+
