15 “Men, why are you doing these things? We too are humans having the same infirmities as you have.+ And we are declaring the good news to you, for you to turn from these vain things to the living God,+ who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the things in them.+

29 “Therefore, since we are the children* of God,+ we should not think that the Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone, like something sculptured by the art and design of humans.+

4 Now concerning the eating of food offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing+ in the world* and that there is no God but one.+
