SHEMUEL
(She·muʹel) [name of God, that is, bearing the name of God].
The same Hebrew name is also translated “Samuel.”

2. Simeon’s tribal representative to the delegation that divided the Promised Land into tribal allotments; son of Ammihud.—Num. 34:17, 18, 20.
