◆ Kenya passes 1,500 mark for first time; 1,534 publishers, a 33-percent increase.
◆ Brazil reports book placements up 30,000 over last year’s July total; magazine placements up 55 percent.
◆ Baptism total by end of July for Argentina 61 percent ahead of last year’s pace; 4,475 baptized.
◆ Dominican Republic reports a 27-percent increase, with 5,679 publishers in July. More baptized than in any past year.
