◆ On November 29 and 30 a new assembly hall with a capacity of 1,300 was dedicated in Madrid, Spain, for use by the 85 congregations in the Madrid area. Brother F. W. Franz was invited to participate, and he commented that when he first went to Spain in 1947 there was only a handful of publishers in Madrid. Now 5,691 attended the special dedication program of the first assembly hall in Spain. The Spanish branch reports a new peak of 32,184 publishers.
