    • 24 προσελθόντες Having come toward δὲ but διήγειραν they roused αὐτὸν him λέγοντες saying ᾿Επιστάτα Instructor ἐπιστάτα, Instructor, ἀπολλύμεθα· we are perishing; ὁ the (one) δὲ but διεγερθεὶς having been roused ἐπετίμησεν gave rebuke τῷ to the ἀνέμῳ wind καὶ and τῷ to the κλύδωνι raging τοῦ of the ὕδατος, water, καὶ and ἐπαύσαντο, they subsided, καὶ and ἐγένετο came to be γαλήνη. calm.
