“And is it not I.” Lit., “and I am he.” Heb., wa·ʼani-huʼʹ; Gr., e·goʹ ei·miʹ. The expression ʼaniʹ huʼ, “I am he,” is used here by a man, David. Elsewhere in M this expression is used by God. See De 32:39; Isa (41:4; 43:10, 13; 46:4; 48:12; 52:6).
