c According to Isaiah 65:16 in the Hebrew Masoretic text, Jehovah is “the God of Amen.” “Amen” means “so be it,” or “surely,” and is an affirmation or guarantee that something is true or is bound to come true. By carrying out all that he promises, Jehovah shows that what he says is true.
