b Note that the listing in the book Aid to Bible Understanding, page 1041, erroneously lists such marriage as prohibited. The text (Leviticus 18:11) actually specifies that the daughter is the “offspring of your father,” hence not adoptive. The chart in the February 1, 1975, Watchtower, page 73, correctly omits any prohibition of marriage with one’s stepsister.
