One of these (mish·patʹ) is often translated “justice.” The other two (tseʹdheq and the related word tsedha·qahʹ) are in most cases rendered “righteousness.” The Greek word translated “righteousness” (di·kai·o·syʹne) is defined as the “quality of being right or just.”
