122 I was gladdened by those who said to me
“We will go to Jehovah’s house.”
2 Our feet are standing
in your gates, Jerusalem,
3 Jerusalem, built like a city
all linked together,
5 For there stand thrones for judgment,
the thrones of David’s house.
6 Ask for Jerusalem’s peace!
may those who love you prosper,
7 May there be peace over your common
and prosperity in your palaces!
8 On account of my brothers and friends
let me say “Peace be in you!”
9 On account of my God Jehovah’s house
let me seek good for you.
