During the millennial reign of Christ all the dead in Sheol will have a resurrection.

Contrasting his lot with that of unprincipled men, the Levite psalmist continues:

“However, God himself will redeem my soul from the hand of Sheol, for he will receive me.

—Ps. 49:15

Like the psalmist, we rightly make the doing of the divine will the center of our lives. With full trust in his God, this Levite could rest assured that Jehovah would redeem him from Sheol, not allowing him to experience a premature death. Thus he would be received, not by Sheol, but by his rescuer, Jehovah.
