¡No deje de asistir a la Asamblea “Soberanía Divina”!
NO CABE duda de que 1975 pasará a la historia como un año de acontecimientos muy significativos e interesantes, uno de los cuales será la Asamblea de Distrito “Soberanía Divina” de los Testigos de Jehová que durará cuatro días. Esta asamblea especialmente será recordada por largo tiempo por los que puedan asistir. Por eso sinceramente confiamos en que esté usted entre las muchedumbres que ya están haciendo preparativos para estar presentes. El año pasado 2.043.185 personas asistieron a asambleas similares que se celebraron en todas partes del mundo.
Permítanos contarle algo acerca del programa que se ha planeado para la asamblea de este año. Los discursos serán de gran alcance y abarcarán muchos aspectos importantes del vivir cristiano. Los oradores tratarán de tales asuntos como amor, misericordia, bondad, paciencia, humildad, el ser sufridos, y, por medio de demostraciones y ejemplos, mostrarán lo valiosas y prácticas que son estas cosas en la vida diaria. Otros discursos lo estimularán a mantenerse espiritualmente despierto y ocupado, a tener confianza y valor, y también a mantenerse espiritualmente sano y fuerte, a fin de poder sobrevivir los peligros y presiones de la actualidad así como del futuro.
Entre las cosas que se considerarán están profecías de la Biblia y su cumplimiento, y lo que significan para nosotros en esta generación actual. Otros discursos darán atención a asuntos que actualmente son los problemas especiales de padres, hijos y jóvenes. Se darán las respuestas a preguntas que los ancianos y otros de la congregación cristiana han estado preguntando.
En años recientes un rasgo especial de las asambleas de distrito ha sido la presentación de sobresalientes dramas bíblicos. Este año no será una excepción. En realidad, se han hecho arreglos para que usted vea cuatro de los dramas más conmovedores y oportunos que se hayan representado hasta la fecha.
A los que desean simbolizar su dedicación a Jehová se les dará la oportunidad de bautizarse en agua... en casi todas las asambleas esto está programado para el viernes. ¿No sería maravilloso si el número de personas que se bautizaran en las asambleas de este año excediera la cifra del año pasado de 67.759?
La asamblea alcanzará su culminación el último día, cuando se pronunciará el discurso público, “Un solo mundo, un solo gobierno, bajo la soberanía de Dios,” que para entonces habrá recibido amplia publicidad. ¡Qué mensaje más importante debe resultar ser éste para la humanidad que vive en este mundo afligido y lleno de confusión y desunidad!
Estas, pues, son solamente unas cuantas de las razones por las cuales le instamos a usted a que empiece a hacer arreglos para asistir a la asamblea de distrito de 1975 en uno de los lugares alistados abajo.
