Da Main Pries Eli had two boys, Hophni an Phineas. Dem guys wuz prieses at Da Tent for Jehovah, but dey wuz real pilau. So he run to Eli an say: ‘You wen call me? I stay hea!’ But Eli tell him: ‘I neva call you, go back sleep.’ So Samuel go back moemoe. Dis wen happen again. Wen Samuel hea da voice one third time, Eli figga dat Jehovah wuz da one talking to Samuel. So he tell Samuel: ‘If you hea da voice again, you gotta tell: ‘Talk Jehovah. I stay lissen you.’’
Samuel go back sleep. Den he hea da voice one moa time tell: ‘Samuel! Samuel!’ So he ansa: ‘Talk, cuz I stay lissen you.’ Jehovah tell him: ‘Tell Eli dat him an his ohana goin get it! He kno da bad tings his boys stay doin in my Tent fo worship an he no stay doin notting bout um!’ Da nex morning, Samuel open da doors fo Da Tent like he always do. But he wuz sked fo tell Eli wat Jehovah had say. But Eli wen call an tell him: ‘My boy! So wat wen happen? Wat Jehovah had say? I like kno eryting!’ So Samuel tell Eli eryting.
