Darius, da Mede wuz anodda Babylon king. He wen see dat Daniel wuz spesho. So he put Daniel in charge of da mos importan guys in da land. But dese guys Daniel wuz in charge of got jealous, an wanted fo get rid of him. Dey wen kno dat Daniel wen pray to Jehovah three times ery day. So dey tell Darius: ‘Eh Boss, should make one rule dat erybody gotta ony pray to you. Anybody who break da rule, goin get thrown into da puka full of lions.’ Darius wen like da rule, so he sign da paypa.

Soon az Daniel hea about da new rule, he go strait home. In fron one open window, he go down on his knees an pray to Jehovah. Da jealous buggahs buss into his house an catch him praying. Dey run to Darius an tell: ‘Daniel no lissen to yoa rule. He praying to his God three times ery day.’ Darius had like Daniel, an neva like him mahke. So da whole day he try fo tink of one way fo save Daniel. But nobody, not even da king could change da rule dat he wen sign awready. He had fo tell his guys fo throw Daniel into da puka wit da wild lions.

Dat night, Darius no could sleep cuz he wuz so worried about Daniel. Firs ting in da morning, he run to da puka an call Daniel: ‘Hui, yoa God wen save you?’

Darius hea somebody. Wuz Daniel! He yell to Darius: ‘Jehovah wen sen his angel messenja guy fo make da lions no bite me. Dey no hurt me notting.’ Darius wuz supa happy! So he tell his guys fo get Daniel outa da hole. Daniel neva even get one scratch on him. Den da king give da orda: ‘Da guys who wen poin finga Daniel, throw dem into da puka.’ Wen dey wen throw dem into da puka, da lions grind um all up.

Darius sen out dis orda to all da peopo: ‘Erybody gotta come sked an respeck Daniel’s God. Cuz He da one dat wen save Daniel from da lions.’

Esther, one Jew girl, wen live in da Persia town of Susa. Plenny years befoa, Nebukadnezzer wen take her ohana away from Jerusalem. She wuz raised by her cousin, Mordecai. He wuz one worka guy fo King Xerxes, da rula of Persia.

King Xerxes wen like one new queen, so his worka guys bring all da mos pretty wahines in da land to him. Esther wuz one of dem. Outa all da wahines, da king wen choose her fo be da queen. Mordecai tell Esther fo no tell nobody dat she wuz one Jew.

Haman wuz da leada ova all da princes. He wuz so high makamaka dat he wanted erybody fo bow down to him. But Mordecai neva. So Haman wen get so mad dat he wanted fo kill um. Wen Haman find out Mordecai wuz one Jew, he wen make one plan fo kill all da Jews in da land. He tell da king, ‘Watch out fo da Jew guys, dey no good. You gotta get rid of dem.’ Den Xerxes tell, ‘Do wat you gotta do.’ An he give Haman da powa fo make one rule dat tell da peopo fo kill all da Jews on da 13th day of da mont of Adar. Jehovah wuz watching all dis.

Esther neva know notting about da rule. So Mordecai sen her one copy of um, an tell, ‘Go talk to da king.’ Esther tell, ‘Anybody who go see da king, an he neva tell um fo come, dey gotta mahke. Been 30 days awready an he neva ask me fo come. But I still goin go. If he hold out his gold rod, dat mean I goin live. But if not, I goin mahke die dead.’

So Esther go see da king. Wen he see her, he hold out his gold rod. Den she go to him an he ask, ‘Esther, get someting I can do fo you?’ She tell, ‘I like you an Haman come to one spesho meal.’ Ova dea, she invite dem to anodda spesho meal. At da secon meal, da king ask, ‘Get someting I can do fo you?’ She tell, ‘Yeah, somebody like kill me an my peopo. Try save us, please.’ Da king ask, ‘Who trying fo kill you?’ She tell, ‘Dis bad guy right hea, Haman.’ Ho, some mad Xerxes come. So he kill Haman right den an dea.

But nobody could hemo Haman’s rule, not even da king. So now, da king make Mordecai da leada of all da princes an give him da powa fo make one new rule. Mordecai make one new rule dat let da Jew guys fight back an proteck demselfs wen peopo try fo kill dem. Wen come da 13th day of Adar, da Jew guys win ova dea enemies. From den on, dey celebrate dis win ery year.
