11 “‘Now if he cannot afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, he must bring as his offering for his sin a tenth of an eʹphah*+ of fine flour for a sin offering. He should not add oil to it or place frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering. 12 He will bring it to the priest, and the priest will take from it his handful as a token offering* and make it smoke on the altar on top of Jehovah’s offerings made by fire. It is a sin offering.

25 “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is the law of the sin offering:+ In the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered,+ the sin offering will also be slaughtered before Jehovah. It is a most holy thing. 26 The priest who offers it for sin will eat it.+ It will be eaten in a holy place, in the courtyard of the tent of meeting.+
