Lot wife turn to pillar of salt while he and his two daughters running away from Sodom

LESSON 10

A Ɣi-Zɛ Laati Ŋazai Maʋai Zu

Lot wor living with his uncle Abraham in Canaan. After some time, Abraham and Lot wor having plenty animals and the place wor not big again for all of them to live there. So Abraham tell Lot say: ‘This place too small for us to live together. Please choose which side you want go, then I will go the other side.’ The thing Abraham do show that he wor not just thinking about hisself, ehn that true?

Lot notice that the part of the land that wor near the city they call Sodom wor fine. The place wor having plenty water and green grass. So he choose that place and he and his family move there.

Sodom and Gomorrah wor two city near each other. The people in this city dem wor too bad. In fact, they wor too bad that Jehovah decide to destroy the two city. But God wanted to save Lot and his family, so he sent two angels to warn them: ‘Yor hurry up and leave this city because Jehovah coming destroy it!’

Lot not go right away. He wor just wasting time. So the angel dem hold Lot, his wife, and his two daughters hand and run with them outside the city. Then the angel tell them say: ‘Yor run! Yor run for your life, and yor must not look behind. If yor look behind, yor will die!’

Fire and sulfur coming down just like rain on Sodom and Gomorrah

When they reach to the city they call Zoar, Jehovah made fire and sulfur to come down like rain and destroy Sodom and Gomorrah altogether. Lot wife disobey Jehovah and look behind, so she turn to pillar of salt! But Lot and his two daughters wor save because they obey Jehovah. We sure Lot and his two daughters wor feeling bad because Lot wife not obey. But they wor happy that they listen to what Jehovah say.

“Remember what happen to Lot wife.”—Luke 17:32
