After Joshua lead Jehovah people for plenty years, he die when he wor 110 years old. All the time he wor living, the Israelite dem wor worshiping Jehovah. Because the Israelites not continue following Jehovah, he allow one Canaanite king they call Jabin to suffer them. The Israelites beg Jehovah to help them. So, Jehovah give them new leader they call Barak. He wor coming help them to start serving Jehovah again.

One woman name Deborah who use to prophesy, send for Barak. Jehovah give her message for him, so she tell him say: ‘Take 10,000 men dem and go meet Jabin army near the river they call Kishon. That the place you will defeat Sisera, the chief for Jabin army.’ Barak tell Deborah say: ‘I will only go if you go with me.’ Then she say: ‘I will go with you. But know that, that not you will kill Sisera. Jehovah say that one woman will kill him.’

Deborah go with Barak and his army up the mountain they call Tabor, to prepare for the battle. As soon Sisera hear about it, he put his war chariots and his army dem together and they go in the valley. Deborah tell Barak say: ‘Today that the day Jehovah will make you to win this battle.’ Barak and his 10,000 men dem come down from the mountain to meet Sisera powerful army.

Then Jehovah make the Kishon river to get full. Sisera war chariots hitch in the mud. Sisera move from in his chariot and start running away. Barak and his soldier dem defeat Sisera army, but Sisera run away! He run away and hide in one woman tent. The woman name wor Jael. She give him milk to drink and then she cover him with blanket. He wor tire, so he start sleeping. Then Jael start creeping going to him. She use the pin they can use to hold the tent and juke it in his head. And he die.

Barak wor looking for Sisera. Then Jael come from inside her tent and tell him say: ‘Come inside. I will show you the man you looking for.’ Barak go inside and he see that Sisera na die. Then Barak and Deborah start singing and praising Jehovah for making the Israelite dem to defeat their enemy. The Israelite dem enjoy peace for 40 years.
