The ten-tribe kingdom in Israel wor having plenty bad kings, but Ahab wor one of the worst king. He marry one wicked woman who use to worship Baal. Her name wor Jezebel. Ahab and Jezebel make the people to worship Baal and they even kill Jehovah prophet dem. Wetin Jehovah do? He send the prophet Elijah to give one message to Ahab.

Elijah tell King Ahab say, because of your wickedness, no rain will fall in Israel. No food grow in Israel for more than three years, and the people wor hungry. Later on, Jehovah send Elijah to go back to Ahab. The king tell him say: ‘You big trouble maker! All this thing dem happening because of you.’ Elijah say: ‘That not me cause this problem. That you cause this problem by worshipping Baal. Let do one test. Put all the people together and the Baal prophet dem and carry them on top of the mountain they call Mount Carmel.’

All the people dem go on the mountain. Then Elijah say: ‘Yor decide for yourself. If Jehovah that the true God, yor follow him. But if Baal that the true god yor follow him. I challenge yor. The 450 Baal prophet dem must prepare offering and pray to their god, and I will prepare offering and pray to Jehovah. The person who will answer by using fire, that the true God.’ The people agree.

Baal prophet dem prepare their offering. They pray to their god the whole day. They wor saying: ‘O Baal, answer us!’ When Baal not answer them, Elijah make fun out of them. Elijah say: ‘Yor shout more. Maybe he sleeping, and he want somebody to wake him up.’ In the evening, Baal prophet dem wor still shouting. But nobody answer.

Elijah put his offering on one altar and waste water all over it. Then he pray to Jehovah and say: ‘O Jehovah, please let the people know that you the true God.’ Right away, Jehovah send fire from heaven to burn the offering. The people start shouting saying: ‘Jehovah that the true God!’ Then Elijah say: ‘Yor must not allow the Baal prophet dem to run away!’ That day, they kill 450 Baal prophets.

When one small cloud appear over the sea, Elijah tell Ahab say: ‘One heavy breeze coming. Get in your chariot, and go home.’ The sky started getting dark with clouds, the wind start blowing, and the heavy rain start falling. Yes, finally, rain start falling again. Then Ahab run fast with his chariot. With Jehovah help, Elijah run even more than the chariot! But you think all Elijah problems wor over? Let see.
