LESSON 48
Ŋaza Nui Dui Wu-Ziɣini Saa Ya
During the time no rain wor falling, Jehovah tell Elijah say: ‘Go to Zarephath. One widow there will give you food.’ When Elijah reach to the city gate, he see one poor widow breaking wood. He ask her for one cup of water. When she wor going for the water, Elijah call her and say: ‘Please bring me one piece of bread when you coming.’ But the woman say: ‘I not get bread. I only get small flour and oil to make small food for me and my son.’ Elijah tell her say: ‘Jehovah na promise that if you bake bread for me, your flour and oil will not finish until the rain start falling again.’
So, the widow went home and bake bread for Elijah. All the time the rain wor not falling, the widow and her son wor having food to eat just how Jehovah promise. Her flour and oil jars wor always full.
Then something bad happen. The widow son get seriously sick and he die. She beg Elijah to help her. Elijah take the boy from her hand and carry him upstair in one of the room. Elijah lay him down on the bed and started praying: ‘Jehovah, please bring this child back to life.’ You know why it wor wonderful that Jehovah bring that child back to life? That because, no body na ever come back to life before. And this woman and her son wor not even Israelites.
But the boy come back to life and he started breathing again! Elijah tell the woman say: ‘See! Your son na come back to life.’ She wor too happy and she tell Elijah say: ‘You true prophet from God. I know this one because, you can only say what Jehovah tell you to say.’
