Jehoiada Ɣɛni Ga Zii-Lɔɔ Nu
Jezebel wor having one daughter they called Athaliah. She wor wicked just like her ma. Athaliah wor marry to the king of Judah. When her husband die, her son start ruling. But when her son die, Athaliah made herself ruler for Judah. Then she try to destroy the entire royal family line by killing anybody she think will rule instead of her, even her own grandson dem. Everybody wor scare of her.
High Priest Jehoiada and his wife, Jehosheba, knew that the thing Athaliah wor doing wor too bad. So they risk their life to hide one of her grandsons, they call Jehoash. They take care of him and he grow up in the temple.
When Jehoash wor seven years old, Jehoiada put all the chief dem and the Levites together and tell them say: ‘Yor mind the temple doors, and yor must not let anybody to enter.’ Then Jehoiada made Jehoash the king for Judah and put crown on his head. The people in Judah start shouting: ‘Long live the king!’
Queen Athaliah hear the people shouting so she run straight to the temple. When she see the new king, she start shouting: “They go against me! They go against me!” Then the chief dem grab the wicked queen, carry her and kill her. But what about the bad-bad thing dem she make the people to do?
Jehoiada help the people to make promise that they will worship only Jehovah. Jehoiada make the people to break Baal temple down and destroy their false god dem. He make the priests and Levites to start working to the temple so people can go back there to worship Jehovah again. He put people to mind the temple gate so that those who not suppose to enter can’t enter. Then Jehoiada and the chief dem carry Jehoash to the palace and put him in the King chair. The people in Judah wor happy. Finally, they wor free from wicked queen Athaliah and Baal worship. They wor able now to serve Jehovah. The way Jehoiada wor brave, how it help plenty people?
“Don’t be scare of people who able to kill the body but not able to kill the soul; but be scare of the person who can destroy the soul and body in Ge·hen′na.”—Matthew 10:28
