The apostle Paul and Barnabas preaching to Sergius Paulus, the governor for Cyprus

LESSON 98

Kolai Maa Veaitiɛ Te Lamani Zui Zu

The apostle dem obey Jesus command to preach the good news all over the earth. In 47 C.E., the brother dem in Antioch send Paul and Barnabas to go preach. The two of them preach all over in Asia Minor with zeal, to area dem like: Derbe, Lystra, and Iconium.

Paul and Barnabas preach to everybody, whether rich or poor, young or old. Plenty people accept the truth about Christ. When Paul and Barnabas preach to Sergius Paulus, the governor for Cyprus, one medicine man try to stop them. Paul tell the medicine man say: ‘Jehovah against you.’ Right away, the medicine man get blind. When the Governor see what happen, he became Christian.

Paul and Barnabas preach all over. From house to house, in the market, on the road, and in the synagogues. When they heal one cripple man in Lystra, the people who see this miracle wor thinking that they wor gods. So they try to worship them. But Paul and Barnabas stop them, and tell them say: ‘Yor Worship only God! We just human being.’ Then certain group of Jews come and make the people to turn against Paul. The people chunk him, and drag him outside the city, and leave him there for him to die. But Paul not die! Right away, the brother dem come to save him and they carry him back in the city. Later on, Paul go to Antioch.

In 49 C.E., Paul go for another preaching trip. After he go back to see the brother dem in Asia Minor, he carry the good news to far-far area dem in Europe. He go to Athens, Ephesus, Philippi, Thessalonica, and other place dem. Silas, Luke, and one young man they call Timothy go with Paul on his journey. They work together to form different-different congregations and help the brother dem to be strong. Paul stay in Corinth for one and the half year, to encourage the brother dem that wor there. He preach, teach, and write letters to plenty congregations. He also use to make tent. After sometime Paul go back to Antioch.

Later on, in 52 C.E., Paul go on his third missionary campaign. And he started in Asia Minor. He travel way to the north to Philippi and then he go to Corinth. Paul spend plenty years in Ephesus, teaching, healing, and helping the congregation. He also gave public talks every day in the school auditorium. Plenty people listen and change their ways. Finally, after preaching the good news in plenty area, Paul go to Jerusalem.
