10 He gives rain to the earth

And sends waters upon the fields.

 8 He wraps up the waters in his clouds,+

So that the clouds do not burst under their weight;

10 By the breath of God, the ice is produced,+

And the broad waters are frozen solid.+

 7 He causes clouds* to ascend from the ends of the earth;

He makes lightning for* the rain;

He brings the wind out of his storehouses.+

12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand+

And taken the measurements* of the heavens with a span of his hand?*

Who has gathered in a measure the dust of the earth+

Or weighed the mountains in the balances

And the hills in the scales?
