OKWENZAKALAYO SEBEFIKE ETHUNENI LIKAJESU
UBONAKALA KWABESIFAZANA ABATSHIYENEYO
Abesifazana basala bethithibele sebethole ithuna lingelalutho phakathi. UMariya Magadalena usuka egijima aye “kuSimoni Phetro kanye lomunye umfundi, lowo owayethandwa nguJesu,” umphostoli uJohane. (UJohane 20:2) Kodwa abanye abesifazana abasala ethuneni babona ingilosi. Kanti njalo phakathi kwethuna kulenye ingilosi ‘egqoke ijazi elimhlophe.’—UMakho 16:5.
Enye yezingilosi lezi ithi kubo: “Lingesabi, ngiyakwazi ukuthi lidinga uJesu obulewe ngokubethelwa esigodweni. Kakho lapha ngoba uvusiwe njengoba wayetshilo. Buyani lizobona indawo akade ebekwe kuyo, beselisuka masinyane liyetshela abafundi bakhe ukuthi usevusiwe kwabafileyo. Zwanini! Uzaliqalela ukuya eGalile.” (UMathewu 28:5-7) Abesifazana laba bagijima bayebikela abafundi ‘beqhuqha, bemangele futhi bengaselalankani.’—UMakho 16:8.
UMariya usemtholile uPhetro loJohane. Ukhuluma ekhefuzela athi kubo: “Sebeyithethe iNkosi bayisusa ethuneni, kasikwazi ukuthi bayibeke ngaphi.” (UJohane 20:2) UPhetro loJohane bahle bagijimele ethuneni. UJohane utshiya uPhetro amqalele ukufika. Uyalunguza kulo abone amalembu kodwa kangeni phakathi.
UPhetro uthi efika ahle azithele phakathi. Ubona amalembu elineni kanye lalelo obekuthandelwe ngalo ikhanda likaJesu. UJohane laye uyangena abesekukholwa obekutshiwo nguMariya. Lanxa uJesu wayetshilo ukuthi uzavuswa, kakho phakathi kwabo ocabanga ukuthi usevusiwe. (UMathewu 16:21) Babuyela emakhaya bedidekile. Kodwa uMariya osephendukile ethuneni usala lapho.
Kusenjalo abanye abesifazana bagijimela ukuyatshela abafundi ukuthi uJesu usevusiwe. Bathi besendleleni, uJesu abahlangabeze athi kubo: “Salibonani!” Bayaguqa enyaweni zakhe ‘bamkhothamele.’ UJesu abesesithi kubo: “Lingesabi! Hambani liyebikela abafowethu ukuze baye eGalile, yikho lapho abazangibona khona.”—UMathewu 28:9, 10.
Kwathi kusiba lokuzamazama komhlaba lezingilosi zibonakala, amasotsha ayesethuneni ‘abanjwa ngumhedehede ehluleka lokunyakaza, sekungathi ngabantu abafileyo.’ Sekuthe dlwe kuwo angena edolobheni ‘ayabika kubaphristi abakhokhelayo zonke izinto ezazenzakele.’ Abaphristi laba basebesiyabonisana labadala bamaJuda. Bakhetha ukuthi bafumbathise amasotsha ukuze ayifihle indaba le futhi athi: “Abafundi bakhe bafike bamntshontsha ebusuku silele.”—UMathewu 28:4, 11, 13.
Amasotsha eRoma angabulawa nxa kungatholakala ukuthi abelele ngesikhathi sokulinda. Yikho abaphristi bayawathembisa bathi: “Nxa lokhu [amanga okuthi bebelele] kungafika endlebeni zikasibalukhulu, thina sizamchasisela ukuthi kuhambe njani, lina lingakhathazeki.” (UMathewu 28:14) Amasotsha la ayavuma ukufunjathiswa abesesenza lokho okutshiwo ngabaphristi. Ngakho indaba engamanga eyokuthi isidumbu sikaJesu sintshontshiwe iyagcwala kumaJuda.
UMariya Magadalena ulokhu elila ethuneni. Uyalunguza phakathi abesebona izingilosi ezimbili ezigqoke okumhlophe. Enye ihlezi ngasekhanda lapho obekulesidumbu sikaJesu khona, enye ihlezi ngasenyaweni. Zimbuza zithi: “Dadewethu, ukhalelani?” Yena uziphendula athi: “Bathethe iNkosi yami njalo kangazi ukuthi bayibeke ngaphi.” Uthi etshibilika abone omunye umuntu. Umuntu lo ubuza umbuzo obuzwe zingilosi abesephinda athi: “Udinga bani?” UMariya ucabanga ukuthi ngumuntu osebenza ensimini, abesesithi kuye: “Mnumzana, nxa umthethe ngitshela ukuthi umbeke ngaphi ngiyemthatha.”—UJohane 20:13-15.
UMariya kakananzeleli ukuthi ukhuluma loJesu osevusiwe. Kodwa uJesu uthi esithi kuye, “Mariya!” yena ahle akwazi ukuthi nguye esizwa embiza ngendlela ajayele ukumbiza ngayo. UMariya uyathokoza kakhulu athi: “Rabhoni!” (okutsho ukuthi “Mfundisi!”). Lanxa kunjalo uyesaba ukuthi uJesu usezabuyela ezulwini, yikho uyamgagadlela. UJesu yena abesesithi kuye: “Yekela ukunginamathela ngoba kangikayi kuBaba. Kodwa hamba uyetshela abafowethu uthi, ‘Ngiya phezulu kuBaba onguYihlo, loNkulunkulu wami onguNkulunkulu wenu.’”—UJohane 20:16, 17.
UMariya uyagijima aye lapho okubuthene khona abaphostoli labanye abafundi. Ufika athi: “Ngiyibonile iNkosi!” angezelele kulokho asebekutshelwe ngabanye abesifazana. (UJohane 20:18) Kodwa okutshiwo ngabesifazana laba ‘kungathi yinto engelangqondo’ kubo.—ULukha 24:11.

Khathesi sekuyiSonto ngoNisani 16 njalo abafundi badane kakhulu. Kabazwisisi ukuthi kungani isidumbu sikaJesu singasekho ethuneni. (UMathewu 28:9, 10; ULukha 24:11) Mhlalokho, uKlewophasi lomunye umfundi basuka eJerusalema besiya e-Emawusi engumango ongamakhilomitha angaba ngu-11.
Bahamba bekhuluma ngokwenzakeleyo. Bathi besaxoxa baficwe ngomunye umuntu. Ubabuza athi: “Kanti yiluphi udaba elihamba liluhlafuna lapha endleleni?” UKlewophasi uphendula athi: “Kanti uyisihambi yini esihlala sodwa eJerusalema? Utsho ukuthi kawuzazi izinto ezenzakale kuleyondawo ezinsukwini ezisanda kwedlula?” Umuntu lo uthi kubo: “Izinto ziphi?”—ULukha 24:17-19.
Bathi kuye: “Izinto eziphathelane loJesu umNazaretha.” Baqhubeka besithi: “Besilethemba lokuthi umuntu lo nguye ozakhulula abako-Israyeli.”—ULukha 24:19-21.
UKlewophasi lomunye wakhe baphinda bamlandisele izinto ezenzakale mhlalokho. Bamtshela ukuthi abanye abesifazana bahambe ethuneni likaJesu bafica isidumbu singekho lokuthi abesifazana laba babone izingilosi ezibatshele ukuthi uJesu usevusiwe. Baphinda bathi bakhona labanye abahambe ethuneni “bathola kunjengoba nje abesifazana betshilo.”—ULukha 24:24.
Kusegcekeni ukuthi abafundi laba ababili bacabanga okungayisikho njalo kabakuzwisisi lokho okwenzakeleyo. Yikho umuntu lo uyabaqondisa ngoba abakucabangayo kwenza bangakholwa ukuthi uJesu usevusiwe. Uthi: “Yeyi lina bantu abangafuni ukucabanga futhi abaphuza ukukholwa izinto zonke ezakhulunywa ngabaphrofethi! Bekungafanelanga yini ukuthi uKhristu ahlupheke kanje njalo athole inkazimulo yakhe?” (ULukha 24:25, 26) Uqhubeka ebachasisela iMibhalo eminengi ephathelane loKhristu.
Abafundi laba ababili bacina befikile eduze lase-Emawusi, kodwa bafuna ukuzwa okunengi yikho bathi emuntwini abahamba laye: “Hlala lathi ngoba sekusiba ntambama futhi ilanga selisiyatshona.” Uyavuma ukuhlala labo. Bathi sebesidla, athandaze futhi ahlephune isinkwa abesebaqhubela. Esenze njalo bayananzelela ukuthi ungubani, yena abesenyamalala. (ULukha 24:29-31) Khathesi kabasathandabuzi ukuthi uJesu usevusiwe.
Abafundi ababili bakhuluma bethabile ngalokho okwenzakale besendleleni. Bathi: “Izinhliziyo zethu bezingavuthi yini phakathi kwethu ngesikhathi ekhuluma lathi emgwaqweni, esichasisela kuhle iMibhalo?” (ULukha 24:32) Baphanga babuyele eJerusalema bafice abaphostoli bebuthene labanye. UKlewophasi lomunye wakhe bathi bengakalandisi indaba yabo bezwe abanye besithi: “INkosi ivusiwe sibili futhi ibonakele kuSimoni!” (ULukha 24:34) Ngemva kwalokhu uKlewophasi lomfundi abelaye bayalandisa okwenzakaleyo njengoba labo bembone ngawabo uJesu.
Kusenjalo babona uJesu eselabo khonapho besebesethuka. Kabakukholwa abakubonayo ngoba bebekhiyile iminyango besesaba amaJuda. Kodwa khathesi nangu uJesu esemi phakathi kwabo. Ukhuluma ngelizwi elipholileyo athi: “Ukuthula kakube kini.” Kodwa bona balokhu betshaywe luvalo. ‘Bacabanga ukuthi babona isidalwa somoya’ njengalokho abake bakucabanga esikhathini esidlulileyo.—ULukha 24:36, 37; UMathewu 14:25-27.
UJesu ufuna kubacacele ukuthi kababoni mbono. Ubatshengisa izandla lenyawo zakhe ukuze babone ukuthi ulomzimba wenyama, abesesithi kubo: “Kungani likhathazekile futhi lithandabuza ezinhliziyweni zenu? Khangelani izandla zami lenyawo zami, yimi kanye. Ngithintani lizibonele, umoya kawulanyama lamathambo kodwa liyazibonela ukuthi mina ngilakho.” (ULukha 24:36-39) Bayathokoza kakhulu futhi bayamangala, kodwa kukhanya balokhu bethandabuza.
Ulokhu efuna babone ukuthi nguye sibili, yikho ubabuza athi: “Lilakho okudliwayo yini lapha?” Bamupha inhlanzi ewosiweyo abesesidla. Ngemva kwalokho uthi kubo: “Nanka amazwi ami engalitshela wona ngiseselani [ngingakafi]. Ngalitshela ukuthi konke okumayelana lami okubhalwe eMthethweni kaMosi lakubaPhrofethi kanye lakumaHubo kufanele kugcwaliseke.”—ULukha 24:41-44.
UJesu uncede uKlewophasi lomfundi akade elaye ukuthi bazwisise iMibhalo futhi khathesi senceda labanye bonke ababutheneyo khonapho. Uthi: “Kubhaliwe ukuthi uKhristu uzahlupheka abesevuka kwabafileyo ngelanga lesithathu, lokuthi kusukela eJerusalema, kuzatshunyayelwa ezizweni zonke ngebizo lakhe ukuthi abantu baphenduke ukuze bathethelelwe izono. Lizakuba ngofakazi bezinto lezi.”—ULukha 24:46-48.
Umphostoli uTomasi ubengekho ngesikhathi abanye beloJesu. Ngemva kwamalanga athile abanye bamtshela bethabile besithi: “Siyibonile iNkosi!” UTomasi uthi kubo: “Kangisoze ngikukholwe lokho loba sekutheni, ngaphandle ngize ngibone amanxeba ezipikili ezandleni zakhe, ngihlome umunwe wami phakathi kwawo, ngihlome lesandla sami emhlubulweni wakhe.”—UJohane 20:25.
Abafundi baphinda babuthane ngemva kwamalanga ayisitshiyagalombili njalo bayakhiya iminyango. Khathesi uTomasi laye ukhona. UJesu ubonakala phakathi kwabo elomzimba wenyama abesebabingelela athi: “Ukuthula kakube kini.” Ngemva kwalokho uthi kuTomasi: “Faka umunwe wakho lapha, khangela izandla zami, uhlome isandla sakho lapha emhlubulweni wami. Yekela ukuthandabuza, ukholwe.” UTomasi ubabaza athi: “Nkosi yami, Nkulunkulu wami!” (UJohane 20:26-28) Kasathandabuzi ukuthi uJesu uvusiwe. Uthi uJesu ‘nguNkulunkulu’ okutsho ukuthi “ungunkulunkulu” ongummeli kaJehova onguye yedwa uNkulunkulu weqiniso.
UJesu uthi: “Usukholwa yini njengoba usungibonile? Bayathokoza abakholwa lanxa bengazange babone.”—UJohane 20:29.
