29 “You must not hesitate to make offerings from your abundant produce and the overflow of your presses.*+ The firstborn of your sons you are to give to me.+

19 “Every firstborn male* is mine,+ including all your livestock, whether the first male bull or sheep.+ 20 The firstling of a donkey you are to redeem with a sheep. But if you do not redeem it, then you must break its neck. You are to redeem every firstborn of your sons.+ No one may appear before me empty-handed.

26 “‘However, no one should sanctify the firstborn of the animals, since it is born as the firstborn for Jehovah.+ Whether bull or sheep, it already belongs to Jehovah.+

13 For every firstborn is mine.+ In the day that I struck every firstborn in the land of Egypt,+ I sanctified to myself every firstborn in Israel from man to beast.+ They are to become mine. I am Jehovah.”

22 Also, when the time came for purifying them according to the Law of Moses,+ they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to Jehovah,* 23 just as it is written in Jehovah’s* Law: “Every firstborn male* must be called holy to Jehovah.”*+
