20 Even in your thoughts,* do not curse* the king,+ and do not curse the rich in your bedroom; for a bird* may convey the sound,* or a creature with wings may repeat what was said.

5 And Paul said: “Brothers, I did not know he was high priest. For it is written, ‘You must not speak injuriously of a ruler of your people.’”+

8 Despite this, these men too are indulging in dreams, defiling the flesh, despising authority, and speaking abusively of glorious ones.+
